Folklore has always held a special place in my heart. Long before movies, television, or social media, people shared stories to explain the mysteries of the world around them. These tales were filled with magical creatures, clever tricksters, and enchanted landscapes. They carried traditions, lessons, and imagination from one generation to the next.
What I love most about folklore is how it transforms ordinary places into magical ones. A quiet forest becomes a place where witches gather. A meadow might hide a mystical hare. And somewhere near the end of a rainbow, a clever leprechaun guards his pot of gold.
Many of these legends come from old European traditions—especially Irish folklore—where stories of mischievous fairies and hidden treasure were passed down through storytelling. In these tales, the leprechaun is often described as a solitary fairy shoemaker, known for guarding his gold and outwitting anyone who tries to capture him.
