In Norse lore, Thor is a hammer wielding storm god associated with thunder, lightning storms, oak trees, might, he protects the Æsir Gods, their fortress Asgard. Thor’s father is Odin. His better-half is Jörd which together produced two sons Móði (meaning Courage) and Magni (meaning Strength) They also have a daughter named Pruðr which means Power. Together they dwell in a place called Prúðvangr. There Thor has a great Hall called Bilskirnir , that allegedly has five hundred doors.
Thor owns two pet goats named Tanngrisnir means Teeth-barer and Tanngnjóstr meaning Teeth-gnasher that pulls Thor’s chariot when he journeys throughout the nine worlds. Thor owns three unique accessories, a belt that aids in making him stronger, iron gloves for swinging his mighty hammer Mjöllnir. Thor battles several giants with his trusty hammer.
